the manchester wedding

So… the Manchester wedding, as there was none of the same guests as the previous weekend’s wedding, we got to wear the exact same outfits! The main event was at the Manchester Town Hall, a very impressive building of the Victorian, neo-gothic persuasion, it was like setting foot on the set for Harry Potter. All the girls ‘ooh-ed’ and ‘ahh-ed’ at the the new Mrs Stott’s vintage 1950’s wedding dress (she looked fantastic!).

A little walk took us to ‘Room‘, lots of champagne, victoria-sponge cakes and then dinner. The food was fantastic (as you can see from the photos).  We had a great time and managed to do a hell of a lot of dancing before passing out at our hotel in the early hours of the morning.
